Child Advocacy Center Golf Outing
SPONSORS AND GOLFERS NEEDED!!!
As many of you may know, Child Advocacy Centers across the country are facing significant reductions in Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funding. Beginning this fall, CAC’s are anticipating somewhere between a 10–25% reduction in this critical federal funding.
While these cuts present a challenge, our commitment remains the same. Every child who comes through our doors will continue to receive forensic interviews, family advocacy, trauma-focused therapy, prevention education, and access to our LC SAFE program, which provides 24/7 forensic medical exams for victims of abuse all at no cost to the children and families we serve.
Because of these funding reductions, community support has never been more important. Events like our annual Golf Classic help ensure we can continue providing these essential services without interruption.
Our Golf Classic will be held on Monday, September 14, at Metamora Golf & Country Club. There are several ways to support the event, including sponsoring, registering a golf team, donating a raffle or auction item, or simply helping us spread the word.
Not a golfer? No problem!
We are also offering a dinner-only option for $40 per person, so anyone who wants to join us for the evening portion of the event is more than welcome. Please let me know if that’s something you are interested in.

The Golf Ball Sponsorship is open, and I need to fill that one ASAP if we want the sponsorship logo on it in time.
