Marguerite deAngeli Birthday Celebration at the Lapeer Library

The Lapeer District Library’s deAngeli Branch will host a Marguerite deAngeli Birthday Celebration on Saturday, March 14, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

During the celebration, visitors are invited to stop in at the library to honor the birthday of the branch’s namesake, Marguerite deAngeli, and learn more about her life, history, and ties to Lapeer. The event will feature a self-guided tour of Marguerite deAngeli’s illustrations on display throughout the library, a themed activity, and a birthday cake for attendees to enjoy.
