Touch-a-River Bug – Lapeer District Library
The Lapeer District Library’s deAngeli will host Touch-a-River Bug, a hands-on outdoor program presented by members of the Lapeer Chapter of the Flint River Watershed Coalition. The event will take place on Saturday, May 9 at 1:00 p.m. on the deAngeli Branch lawn, rain or shine.
This interactive program invites kids to learn about various bugs and animals found in local waterways and their role in the ecosystem. Participants will explore water tables featuring insects and creatures such as dragonflies, caddisflies, mayfly larvae, snails, crawfish, worms, minnows, and more.
As this program includes bugs, dirt, and water, attendees are encouraged to dress accordingly.
This program is free to attend. Registration is required. For more information about this or other library programs, visit www.library.lapeer.org or call the deAngeli Branch at 810-664-6971.
