Lead Hazards in Plumbing

The Lapeer District Library’s Marguerite deAngeli Branch will host Get Ahead of Lead, an educational program focused on lead safety. This session, taking place on Saturday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m., will provide valuable information about identifying potential lead hazards, understanding the health risks of lead exposure, and learning how to keep your home and water supply safe.

The program is designed for all residents, including homeowners and renters, to learn practical steps for preventing lead contamination in their water supply and ensuring the safety of their drinking water.
