The City of Lapeer Community Center is intended to serve Lapeer area residents of all ages with recreational, social, cultural, fitness and educational opportunities year round. Through its facilities and programs, the Community Center will enhance the quality of life in the community. The Community Center offers a wide-range of activities for youth, adults and seniors. The 55,000 square foot facility sits on 6.9 acres opened in 1995 and features an indoor six lane competition/leisure swimming pool with a water slide and zero entry, gymnasium with seven baskets, weight/fitness equipment (new in 2013), meeting/group fitness rooms, track, two racquetball courts, child care area, cycling studio, locker room facilities, and the Park & Recreation department administrative offices. Outside features a spray park in the courtyard outside the pool, two basketball courts, and two sand volleyball courts. There are four ways to fun and fitness 1) Annual Passes, 2) Single Visit Passes, 3) Classes & Programs, 4) Facility Rental. The center is open seven days a week, come visit today!
