Welcome to the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce
The Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce is very active in creating the ideal environment for businesses to grow and prosper. Members benefit from increased visibility and promotion throughout Lapeer County year-around. Membership includes monthly business-to-business networking meetings, discount programs through Office Depot, Priority Payment Systems for CC processing discounts, our Member-to-Member Discount Key Tag program, Referral Reward program, advertising, website presence, sponsorship opportunity, are just a few of the benefits our members enjoy. Our monthly Business Connections newsletter is filled with membership and community news and events.
Commitment to the community is evident through Chamber events such as the Lapeer Days Festival. This three-day, FREE festival showcases our community and generates hundreds of thousands of dollars in spin-off revenue that can be seen in community enhancements, social programs, and more.
The 4th of July Fireworks, Light Up Lapeer (decorating of the downtown area during the holidays), Annual Christmas Parade and Santa House, Annual Citizen of the Year Award & Citizen of the Year Youth Award & Scholarship, the Community Expo, and the Food Truck Fest events (May, June, July, and September.
In addition, we support other community organizations and participate in other community events such as Holiday Depot (providing food, clothing, and gifts at Christmas for Lapeer County families) the annual DDA Treat Walk and Monday Classic Car Show, the annual Fantasy Forest treat walk are just a few of the community events enjoyed by the families who work and live in our community. We assist other organizations with events that enhance our economic environment and improve and keep our community vital and vibrant.
