At Lapeer Sunrise Kiwanis, our mission is to change the world by serving children, one child, and one community at a time. Lapeer Sunrise Kiwanis Club was chartered on September 26, 2001.
Our outstanding achievements include feeding 350 elementary school children who are food insecure each week end through the Food Backpack Program; sponsoring a Key Club (a high school Kiwanis Club); sponsoring an Aktion Club ( a Kiwanis club for adults with special needs) and the canoe/kayak launch at Rotary Park.
Our future goals are: Continuing to feed children each week end during the school year; growing membership; and supporting the needs of local children..
